In related news, Melbourne City Baths is tiny tiny (30 meters! four lanes!) and the aqua-dancersise going on in the 15m pool that shared a ceiling with the women's change room had some bizarro music, techno remixes of the Saints Go Marching in etc, big band stuff. Designed to be stirring to a certain type/age of Anglo-Australian clientele? It was a mite off-putting. But then, so was the entrance fee (similar to what you pay at the Boy Charlton) and the extra charge or a locker you could only get into once, and the weird lack of actual space to change. A++ hairdryers, though. Thanks, I think I'll stick with the Fitz. And the BC in Sydney, my forever pool and happy place. Outdoor pools!
