It’s been, geeze, over twenty years since I listened to this album and I don’t know if I even own a copy of it anymore, but I seriously don’t remember The Monkees covering Wreckless Eric’s “Whole Wide World” on Pool It! -- probably because I wouldn’t have recognized as a kid, but either way it was an odd, underground choice for a bunch of sixties teen idols, then in their forties.
