So Kate just seriously had a hidden secret bunker installed behind her desk in the library, I think it's likely possible that she knew a lot more about everything considering she thought that the bunker was necessary at some point.
I kinda wonder if that could potentially be where the occult research meetings took place but speaking of the "occult research meetings" secret tape, I find it super intriguing that in the last section of that tape the TV is not just off but it's also turned away from everyone and facing against the wall.
It's a small but significant detail I think.
