Nice Dice: A Masterpost (Part II)
As promised, hereâs the second installment in a series of masterposts about my favorite online dice dealers retailers! This post highlights specialty dice that I frequently drool over, including metal and stone sets, as well as two more storefronts that sell polymer dice that I discovered after the first post in this series was made.

Level Up Dice is an Australian storefront that specializes in what they refer to as âluxury dice.â This includes a wide range of semi-precious stone dice such as lapis lazuli and opalite (my personal favorite), colorful aluminum sets, and the recent additions of wood and bone options. Level Up Dice is a bit on the pricier end, but for the quality of the materials being used, Iâd say the pricing is just fine! Iâve also heard great things about quality. So, if youâre looking for a luxury dice set and you have disposable income, I highly recommend starting your search here (Iâve linked to their USA site because Iâm from the states, but if youâre an Australian or international buyer, you can check out their main site).
Speaking of luxury dice, Artisan Dice has arguably the most luxurious dice of all the luxury dice sellers Iâve seen so far. From their machined metal Dragonâs Dice to their Druid Dice made out of exotic woods and inlays, Artisan Dice makes what they call âthe finest dice on the planetâ straight out of their Dallas, Texas-based workshop. Their metal, wood, stone, and bone sets are cool and all, but in my opinion, what sets Artisan Dice apart from the rest of their competitors is their line of Alchemistâs Dice. The optically-clear acrylic sets available are stunning, as are the âSecond Windâ dice (made from a blend of polyester and acrylic resins). So if youâre willing to shell out a couple hundred bucks on some really nice dice, check out these people. Their stuff is awesome.
But if youâre looking for some sweet metal dice and the previous two sellers are out of your price range (I know theyâre definitely out of mine), you should take a look at Skull Splitter Dice! Skull Splitter Dice has metal dice sets priced similarly to Die Hardâs line and they come packed in really neat metal cases themed to the set youâre purchasing. I donât know much else about this retailer, but itâs worth taking a look at!
Critit sells a variety of tabletop RPG merchandise, from apparel to dice towers, but their Animal Spirit dice are what brings them onto this list. With custom animal icons imprinted instead of numbers as the max rolls on each die and swirling colors themed to each animal (Spider, Raven, and Phoenix, for example), these sets are beautiful and belong in any dice collectorâs arsenal. Theyâre also pretty inexpensive!
Lastly, Q Workshop is the manufacturer behind all of the Pathfinder Adventure Path themed dice. They also produce the Elvish and Dwarven sets that are fairly popular, as well as Call of Cthulhu dice (the ones that no one ever knows where theyâre from because you usually find them in dice bins and not as complete sets). Honestly, I find Q Workshopâs dice either too busy or too bland with no real in-between for my tastes, but I can see why theyâd be great collectorâs items.
