now like the comment said, not every instance of the term is a coverup for queer coded relationships, but for the purposes of polyheirs, it's enough to just say they're not actually related and if you choose to interpret them as found family there's nothing wrong with that, and there's also nothing wrong with choosing to ship them either :) peace and love forever
