❝ Against your own better judgement? ❞ Hardly a question, now is it? More of an observation uttered through a little grin that shaped his features into even more eerie ones. For Hades rarely displayed any sort of emotions. ❝ Do it, then. ❞
It was not unusual for the wisp to perform actions that could easily be seen as harsh. It was not HERSELF that controlled fate. She was simply a guide for the path of what should be. The man standing on the edge of the cliff before them, knew not of their presence. He only knew that this spot made him feel INVINCIBLE. If this man were to leave this mountain today, he would become an influential public figure years down the road. His decisions would cause poverty and despair for millions. Fortunately for the rest of the world, he would NOT leave this mountain. Unfortunately for him, the wisp was doing just as she was meant to do.
Stepping forward until she was only inches behind him, she reached up. An onlooker might think she meant to graze his hair, but in an instant she was in front of the man, appearing as nothing more than a glimmer of light suspended in the air just over the edge. He smiled and reached towards her, his hand missing. The shift in balance was enough and before he could reimagine his definition of INVULNERABLE, he was on his way to his demise. In another moment, the wisp was once more at the side of the RULER of the underworld.
❝It is DONE and he has been led to the fate chosen for him.❞
