I had to write this post because I think that, even though there was no interaction between them two, this episode was VERY important for their storyline. I’ll just point out why.

First of all because of the topic of the week: Judith Butler. The way Bruno looked at Pol while Merlí was talking about the Queer Theory said it all. Also, I feel like this will help Pol begin to understand what’s happening to him. The plot of the episode was just stunning.

Second. I do NOT believe anything of what Bruno told Tània. He is NOT over Pol, he has NEVER been and he does not have a boyfriend in Italy (I mean, talking to him half an hour everyday is such an “I can’t believe what’s happening to me” situation? Sorry but no). He’s been in love with Pol since the very beginning of the series and will continue like this until something else happens. Stop lying, Bruno.

Third. I’m getting tired of all this “only sex” situation. And I’m not talking about the Míriam-Pol plot, but about all of Pol’s hookups. He has said since the very first episode that he “does not fall in love”, but I believe that this cannot last forever. Now more than ever he needs to find a partner. Don’t get me wrong. Single people can be very happy (I am), but with this plot, he just needs to find someone to talk with. He’s been carrying too much shit, he needs to “pop” soon. As Merlí said, “Do you think it’s normal to make everybody think you are a though guy when you are actually very sensitive?”

Fourth. At first I was angry at the Pol-Armand (Berta) situation, but then I realised that it is meaningful too. Pol got horny when he saw Berta dressed up as a dude, and I don’t think it’s casual. If this is the path the writer is following, I’m amazed by the fact that he is playing with such little things. He has been pulling strings since the very beginning in order to join them all together at the end. I really hope it all brings Pol to enjoy his bisexuality. He is not heterosexual, nor homosexual.

Fifth. I loved seeing the whole Bruno-Oliver situation. First of all because of the argument they had on gay activism and LGTB+ parades on Pride. Oliver has been helping Bruno since he arrived and continues doing so. Second, because I see that they are getting closer and closer. And what does this have to do with the Brunol plot? Well. Even though I’m not up for this, I see that they will maybe end up either fucking or making out in the near future. I mean, Oliver is up for it (the whole “I have been kissed a girl” or “Let’s have a tops versus bottoms match”), and even though Bruno does not seem like doing so now (“Pearl, don’t be a bad girl, because I see you coming”), maybe he will change his mind.

And I think that is all for now. I hope Bruno starts getting more screentime from now on, because the last two episodes were just disappointing.

Pol sleeping with his boss, who is his friends mom, after stealing from her on the same episode we find out he has mom issues is terrible. Bruno cheating on a boyfriend (we don’t even know really exists) with the guy he has a crush on (for some time), is less than ideal.

The end of the season would be around the holidays, which is according to Bruno the period Nicola would visit. As we’ve all noticed, the show likes to take it’s time with things, but even that long would be a new record. If we only get Nicola at the end of the season all the juicy stuff wound be either crammed into 2 episodes or spilling over to the third season.

I believe its the combination of two main reasons:

1 - He believes Bruno is gonna be happier away from him, with Nicola or any other guy
