I've been tinkering with a Commander deck led by Lurrus of the Dream-Den, and I'm wondering how his recursion ability works with Bestow. Say I have Baleful Eidolon in my graveyard; would I able to cast it for its Bestow cost using Lurrus, since the card itself is 2CMC?

A spell’s converted mana cost is always equal to its printed mana cost (with any chosen value of X plugged into any X costs). This means that Lurrus doesn’t care if you’re paying an alternate cost for your permanent spell as long as its actual converted mana cost isn’t higher than two. Fpr example, you can safely bestow Baleful Eidolon from your graveyard using Lurrus.

Related to my previous ask; since Takeru is connected to a temple, do you think it's possible he would be the basis for a monk themed super form himself? Or would Toei not do something directly religious like that?

I don’t think they care too much about shovelling religious aspects into designs. Two of the forms are already going to be based off of monks. Though we don’t know if either of them will be used by Ghost.

Do you know if any of the Eyecons are based on a buddhist monk or similar figure? Because I could totally see a final/super form where Ghost wears his Eyecons like a bead necklace

Sanzo and Ikkyu were both monks. I kind of like the idea of a Eyecon necklace.

It's probably a bit early still, but what is your gut feel about Ghost now compared to the "early days" of rumors and leaks? And as an aside, if the Machine Ghostriker doesn't have spooky whinnying sounds accompanying its engine notes I will be the saddest panda.

The cast seems weird and comical almost. They’re probably the most outrageously dressed main characters in a Kamen Rider series. I’m digging the premise so far though. The mysterious man and Alan seem a lot different than the villains in recent years, mostly because they don’t actually appear to be Ganma themselves. It should be refreshing.

All in all though, I’m happy with what we’ve got compared to some of the fake rumours that were floating around (after the trips were hacked and such).
