So if there's a Pokemon near you and you can't figure out where it is, there's a quick fix. Stay in your spot and select the Pokemon over in the nearby tab. Once selected, you'll see how many "footsteps" it is from you. Slowly turn in a circle with your phone held in front of you. When the nearby tab pulses green once, you'll be facing the Pokemon. Walk in that direction until the footsteps disappear.

Seismitoad, Gastrodon, Swampert, Quagsire, Whiscash... It’s a real gamble when you’re using them. Sure, they only have one weakness, but that weakness just so happens to be 4x effective. You’ve really got to plan ahead when you’re using these guys. If you were to have another Pokemon on your team, try to make it a steel, flying, fire, or a poison type. You don’t always have to focus on the weaknesses of your opponent. Try to build your team around your own weaknesses. It would also help to teach them ice-type attacks, such as Ice Punch, or Ice Beam.
If you release a pokemon, it'll follow you around
