Right, this is basically a pokemon rant. What annoys me is the fact that whenever there is a new game coming out, take black and white for example. People were like ‘oh pokemon is past its best now and all the new generation pokemon are too generic, what happened to the original 151?’ well, you still go out an play the game even though you complain about it. Also, people complaining about younger kids playing just the new games and can’t experience Kanto and everything. To be fair, you would be complaining if they didn’t play pokemon at all and they’re still getting the experience. Another thing about the ‘generic’ pokemon, I would love to see you all create over 600 characters that all have individual characteristics and make it into a huge franchise that has reached so many people, to be honest, the creator(s) are just sat laughing at you all on their bed of money. Anyway my main point is that if you lived in Unova, reached your 10th birthday and went to the pokemon lab, were offered a snivy or an oshowot, you can’t tell me that you would say ‘no, this certain pokemon is not from generation 1. I will wait to get a bulbasaur’ no, you wouldn’t. You would rip that pokemon from the professor’s hands, get the running shoes from your mother and run to the elite 4, get the national dex, then you can get your charmander, and you would have the time of your life with your snivy. So think twice.
