It's bounds give away allowing your wiggling things to feel things outside of its reach. The hard capsule of the blackness instead is replaced with something squishy and soft beneath your wiggling things. Meanwhile you however are still trapped inside its seems, spinning every which way to try and figure out how you can seemingly catch up with them.

That is until the thing you sought makes a noise again. You spin towards it and flail those things to try and reach it, brushing past something silkier in texture along the way and it makes that noise again.

"Oh you poor thing," the presence coos to you, "let me help you, darling."

Part of that silken mass brushes under you and it moves upward pushing the blackness away with it.

"There's my little Tepig--"

Unknowingly cutting the presence's lovely sounds off, you turn your head to follow the motion of the feeling rather than the source of what caused it and you see... Something, from what you could make out from it as it shone in the pale light that only barely separates your new world from the blackness, was that it was orange and brown in color, and it started smooth with a rounded point before turning into jagged edges, the inside is hollow, you suppose you were once there filling the now empty space... It almost seems pathetic how underwhelming the true scope of the blackness turned out to be.

Before you can really think about your situation, the presence speaks again;

"Darling, turn this way, don't waste your time with that shabby old thing."

With the same thing the presence used to push off the blackness it gently turns you, bringing you face to face with what you had been looking for. All other thoughts vanish as everything clicks in your mind.

Rippling fur shimmered in the low light, dark fur contrasted with bright markings and eyes that looked down upon you warmly, a flowing tail pushes you closer to a silken belly while a white toed paw slowly retracts back towards where it once sat. All you can do is stare at the radiant thing in front of you, even if you haven't seen yourself you know you look nothing close to how he looks. Yet at the same time you know this is what you've been searching for.

"You picked a strange time to hatch, my dear," seemingly he is unbothered by your silence, as if he expects it, "not that I'm complaining I've been waiting for this day since we found your egg."

You turn to the thing again, and repeat the word egg in your mind that was your egg. You scrunch and make your own noise, not like his, more rough and huffing, before turning back to your new favorite thing with blank adoration and lean against that silken fur.

He makes that noise again, a laugh, short and breathy, you like it. It makes you want to do something similar, but all you can do is make that rough huffing sound.

"Careful now, keep doing that and I might just have to name your cute little self Snorkers," he playfully taps your nose with a paw before bring it back to himself with a wave.

"No, no I could never do that! In fact I've already had your name picked since you first shook in your egg," he sounded proud, voice almost a hum, "you are a very special little Tepig..."

"A gift to us all I'd say, a renewed hope," he continues, thinking you will never remember how his look faltered for a moment, how his gaze traveled to where the pale light came from and grimaced before quickly painting on something more normal.

"My sweet Pandora I hope you are ready, there are a lot of Pokemon that have been just dying to meet you."
