Pokemon Go users who have played around with third-party apps/softwares are claiming to have received emails from Niantic telling them that their Pokemon Go accounts will be banned permanently. Finally, the Pokemon Go Permanent Ban is finally happening.
On August 18, Reddit user “zslayer89” circulated an image of the alleged ban email. Players who have seen the image claimed to have received the same message and dispelling rumors that it’s a scam as their Pokemon Go accounts are no longer active.
For those of you curious as to what the email contains, here it is:

An appeal link follows this statement for people who received the email but did not breach the game’s terms of service, with the message: “Please consider your account permanently terminated unless we reply back to your appeal.”
Most of the players targeted by this ban email confirmed that they have entered their details on a tracking site called PokeAdvisor — a site which Niantic took down following a cease-and- desist letter.

This ban is in line with Niantic’s strategy to make unauthorized Pokemon Go third-party apps/softwares obsolete. We can’t blame Niantic for wanting to protect their servers and providing a fair playground for Pokemon Go players worldwide.
