Hes incredibly smart and a bit of a bully but he eventually matures (for lily), and he would always take the fall for any of his friends. Lily is like the older sister of the group, especially to Remus. They will all always come to her for advice, to spill some tea or just for a chat. James and Lily have always fit together and they knew it, it was just right. When James finally got off his high horse and deflated his head a bit in sixth year, he realised he was completely head over heels in love with lily, lily on the other hand is completely oblivious to the fact she is in love with Potter. Remus has figured this out and was testing his theory one day. He started asking why anyone would like a guy like James. "well he is pretty good looking societly speaking, and he has pretty eyes I guess, he has a really soft voice too, and his hugs are great, hes also pretty good at calming people down and hes super sweet and caring and-" "Okay, Okay we get it Lils, chill out.
