By which I mean it sure is a shame that the Land of Games and Confusion (the land the contest winner chose for us to create) wasn’t done in time, since it stars both very choice owls and sports teams.

First up I’ll give you a refresher on how these puzzles work: Let’s say I leak to following file (which btw is new): http://farragofiction.com/AudioLogs/?passPhrase=bbhuger

When you click it its all glitchy and weird, and you see the following positions of the dials:

The LEFT dial is all the way to the right. This means that only a single file returned as a hit for the passphrase you entered. (so what you are hearing is a single narrative thread) The RIGHT is almost all the way to the left, which means the file you’re hearing is highly corrupt and you probably aren’t getting good detail from it.

If we were to chop off some of the passphrase, we could get more than one file as a hit, and it would be more and more corrupt. Not very useful, but objectively hilarious.

If, instead, we were to guess at what the next few letters are, we’d start getting the file less and less corrupt, until its completely understandable (with extra secrets in the javascript console) When we have the full passphrase.

If we get even a single letter wrong, the file corrupts wildly and just kinda returns bullshit, including multiple unrelated files.
