6/26 POD 20: Summary
PT EVAL:
3-95 deg knee AROM
Dynamic warmup of SLB reaching, stepping lunges, high knee/arm raise
BFR with LAQ - 30x, 15x 15x 15x with 30 sec rest in between
HEP: heel slide with strap into flexion, knee extension with weight/OP, SLB with multidirectional reaching, stepping lunges fwd and lateral
- thoughts: new grad PT. Not the most confident. Also seems a little lost. I get it though. But anyway, I don’t feel ready to be doing dynamic shock absorbing lunges. Will switch to static
Round 2 at the gym:
- static fwd and lateral lunges, SLB with reaching, sit to stands from 24” height with staggered stance for forced use, OP into extension, bike for 20min
- chatted with a sports fellow ortho resident PT friend- should be fighting for 110-120 flexion range, wouldn’t necessarily be doing even static lunges, recommending isometric quad in various deg, quad machine from 90-45deg, wall sits, calves, glutes, squats, deadlifts. Suggested not stressing out the graft by loading it in 0-45deg. Keep working on the extension range and quad firing.
