It’s no surprise that i am one to revel in nostalgia, hence the reason why i write & document in everything, but while digging through my past i found this photo and was hit with a warm an fuzzy feeling — for once no negative memories. This photo, well, a bunch of the photos from this album on my old fb, is what I call the birth of who i identify as today, as an adult. this is from my 10th grade photography + graphic design classes annual seattle trip (i was obvi in both classes), which were the highlight of my year, every year in high school.  this photo in particular was taken right after having lunch in the public market,  which was the first time i had ever heard a pearl jam + soungarden song, can y’all believe that? the first time i was blessed with PJ & SG was while eating a bloody panini in seattle… talk about iconic and life changing. which it was, these trips were life changing, learning about the seattle scene, northwest perks, it was from then i realized how blessed i am to be a part of the PNW and how much i love to call it my home. everything about these seattle trips were the best: from watching ’10 things i hate about you’ on the drives down, listening to nirvana + hendrix, the homely cafes and the stunning photography museums, sitting by the water while drinking coffee, these moments were the pilar of shaping who i am today and i am forever grateful. anyways, these memories just bring a big smile to my face and i wanted to share. #PNWFOREVER (at Pike Place Market)
