If there were only a few bad cops, and if police brutality and murder wasnāt a widespread, systemic problem in the United States, officers whoāve killed people or committed other crimes wouldāve always been held accountable like the rest of us.
Currently, one of the four officers involved in the murder of George Floyd has been arrested, but what about the other three? If police brutality and murder isnāt condoned by the police of the United States, why are the police here more willing to arrest hundreds of American citizens than simply arresting three of their own?
If Black lives matter to the police of the United States, why are they acting like assisting in the murder of George Floyd doesnāt warrant arrest?
It has been days, and even news reporters are being arrested even though they havenāt done anything illegal, but those three cops havenāt been arrested for clearly committing a crime. We even have video proof those three officers committed a crime, but they still havenāt been arrested.
Right now, the U.S. and even people worldwide are coming together to say enough is enough. Please donāt stay silent; you can spread petitions, places people can donate to, posts that debunk misinfo, and posts that link to compilations of such resources, likeĀ this one.
