Prime Minister Arrives at Palace for Weekly Meetting 

Mr. Brandon Long, the Prime Minister of Willow Creek, arrived this morning at the Palace to his weekly meeting with HM King Henry. The PM and the King are reporterly working together to make some changes in the monarchy for the welfare of the people of Willow Creek. What will those changes include? Of course the Earl and Viscount of Hammond’s leave is one of them. But, as we saw earlied this week, the King has already made some changes concerning the royal’s career choices. However, those are not the only changes the King and the PM are working on. 

Some people are saying that some of the royals will stop receiving money from taxpayers. Of course, the ones that will not receive any money will be able to have jobs and be economically independent. That doesn’t mean the will stop being members of the royal family. It will only mean that they will not receive more money from the people. Such money will only be provided to the King and his children while they are underage. Rumor has it that HRH Crown Princess Margaret tuition is being paid by His Majesty’s own money that he inherited from his predecessors. But why would a royal have to work to earn their money? The King and the government have noticed that some royals are not working as much as they should, and because of that, those royals shouldn’t get any money from the people. If you are not doing anything for your country and you are living on the people’s expenses, then you should go to work! Is just as simple as that! This is another reason for the Earl and Viscount of Hammond renounciation. Apparently, the King noticed they weren’t doing much - actually nothing -  for the crown and for the people, so King Henry gave them two choices: Either you work as a royal and make your life public, or you leave and get your own money. 

This may sound a bit drastic, but the King is willing to do everything to make the royals do their jobs. If he and his family is doing it, everyone should. After all, they are all decedents of King and Queens. This rumos still needs to be confirmed, but we are expecting the King to announce the changes soon. 

The new PM of Willow Creek has been elected last week. Mr. Brandon Long is a politician from the Labor Party who had been participating in Parliament for a few years. Last year, Mr. Long was chosen to become the leader of the party because of his modern thoughts about economy and the country’s welfare. The new PM and his family was welcomed to the Palace by Their Majesties King Henry and Queen Sofia.

Their Majesties gave a small tour to the PM and his family throught the Palace, especially through the places they will frequently meet. As in any constitutional monarchy, the PM meets the King once a week to informe His Majesty what is happening within the government and around the world. 

The PM and his family wanted to see the famous Throne Room of the Palace when all the investitures and state dinners take place. Mr. Long was well educated about the royal family history and he was honored to be in the place when all the Kings and Queens of Willow Creek once sat on.
