A/n:I added it a while ago and i think that the fact that only now i'm doing the first actual request for it says a lot on how behind I am with requests

It was incredibly obvious to every single other member of team MZ that you and lida had a thing for each other, so obvious in fact that one time taunie just called her your girlfriend much to the embarrassment of the both of you, causing lida to pull her over for girl talk

"What's the issue? I thought you liked y/n"

"I do like y/n but they can't know that!"

"What? Why?"

"Isn't it obvious? If your friend had a crush would you just go and blurt it out to said crush in person!?"

"....I thought you were already a thing"

"What made you think that?"

"I mean you always spend a ton of time together and battle and i'm pretty sure you danced together on some occasions"

"Yeah, i spend so much time with them because I like them"

"....so don't they like you too?"

"I can't possibly know that! And before you ask no i'm not confessing first, do you know how embarrassing that would be if they say no!?"

Full of excitement to help her friends taunie called a special meeting for team MZ without the two of you (so including only her and naveen plus floette) where she explained the situation and demanded that they should do something to help you two get together, since he couldn't really go against her naveen reluctantly agreed

Taunie is definitely the one that helps your relationship in the most obvious way, she constantly leaves you alone so you can talk and always says how good of a team you are or how well you get along

"Hey lida, you know when you mentioned you were out of berries to feed your pokemon? Yeah when y/n found out they immediately went out to get you some, they're such a good teammate right?"

Meanwhile naveen while he didn't care that much still tried to go along with taunie's plan. Mainly by following her lead and agreeing whenever she said something about you two being good together. However he did also make some matching clothes for the two of you that you could wear whenever you actually became a couple

"Naveen I dunno why you made this but thanks it fits me really well"

"Yeah whatever that's the same thing y/n said you know?"
