Seriously though? I think Carrie has got more important things on her mind than who she hooks up with. Like catching terrorists. A steady relationship and diaper changes aren't among her priorities right now. And that's ok. Very, very ok.

It wouldn't diminish their relationship, but it would dramatically change its nature. Right now there is no sexual tension between them -- their relationship is platonic and it's glorious. Friendships between women and men with no sexual expectations are incredibly rare to see in media. In pretty much every show ever there are sexual comments, teasing, and powerplays that define interactions between women and men. We don't see that in Homeland, and that's one of the reasons I love the show.

I completely disagree that there is no sexual tension between them. There has been since he was introduced on the show.

I love Quinn's character and I love the relationship he has now with Carrie: one of trust and great mutual respect. You almost never see this kind of interplay between women and men on television, and I would be sorely disappointed if they hooked up. #seriouslyunpopularopinion

Really not understanding how a hookup would in any way diminish the trust and mutual respect they have between them. Not clear on that.
