“i said no !!” pluto yelled; it was times like these that people said he was most like his father, anger swarming him, words fueled by fire && passion. maybe he was just tired of no one ever listening to him, but instead of saying that he decided it was easier to fight, because that was what he was used to. “do your ears not work ?? are you brain dead or is pissing me off just fun for you ??”

                                   “ Thank you. ”

❝ i always thought my eyes were a bit out of place. i’m the outsider, i don’t speak that much unless i really want to, i’m covered in scars; you look at me && you feel sad, but you look into my eyes && you feel warm && safe. it sometimes feels like the last little bit of love left in me.❞

❝ you && me both, ❞ pluto mumbled, pretty annoyed in that moment. he had never wanted kami to hear about his history, && if she were to know anything, he would have sooner told her about the history of crime or the attack sooner than his fucking ex, which said a lot about his past relationship. ❝ do we honestly have to talk about this right now kam ?? i’m done with him. ❞

pluto hadn’t been sleeping well since moving away from home. most nights involved little to no sleep, && in the few times when he actually could fall asleep, it wasn’t that hard to wake him up. anything could have him rolling over awake, a little breeze, a tree branch hitting the side of the house, the air conditioning turning over, && certainly someone climbing into his bed. “another nightmare?” he mumbled, rolling over; it didn’t take him long to realize it wasn’t cas though; despite the dark, her scent && figure were very noticeably different from caspar’s. “forgot you were staying tonight,” he mumbled nervously, biting down on his lip. after forcing a few quick breaths, he looked at her, a little concerned. “mae, is everything alright?”
