Astrology Observations Part 14
🌻 People often refer to Virgo and Pisces as healers while overlooking Leo as well. There’s a well-known quote that says, “Laughter is the best medicine,” and which sign rules entertainment and joy? Leo. This idea can also be linked to Greek mythology through Apollo, the god of light, the sun, music, poetry, prophecy, healing, and archery. Even when people are feeling down or depressed, they often listen to a playlist that matches their mood, or sometimes the opposite, because music heals. Similarly, people tend to feel unwell or emotionally low when they don’t get enough sunlight for extended periods.
☯ 8th house synastry tends to involve black-and-white thinking with each other, since there is already an underlying distrust. When one of you makes a small mistake that doesn’t align with your perspective of them, you may automatically see them as a bad person.
🚽 Having 6th house synastry with your sibling is so annoying. Since it rules daily routines and habits, we always end up going to the bathroom at the same time, and we constantly argue about who needs to use it more.
🚩 People often vote on which placements are “immature” or red flags, but instead of looking only at the whole sign or placement, the degrees are what you should really be paying attention to. A Virgo at 2° (inexperienced) is very different from a Virgo at 20° (experienced). This also affects synastry and shows how mature that placement is. For example, someone with a late-degree rising sign will have most of that sign falling into the 12th house (the house of mastery), while the other person’s late-degree placements would fall into their 1st house.
Example: A person with a Cancer Sun at 22° would fall into the 1st house of someone’s Cancer rising at 17°. The rising-sign person would appreciate how emotionally intelligent the planet person is and how they aren’t as clingy or emotionally exhausting as other Cancer placements they’ve met, which usually fall into their 12th house.
👀 In 8th house synastry, the planet person may subconsciously pick up on the house person’s sexual kinks, which can cause them to have irrational or obsessive thoughts, even though they don’t understand why they’re acting out of character.
💄 Someone with Mars conjunct the Ascendant may have visible scars on their face, but if Mars is in the 12th house, the person might feel insecure about it and want to cover it.
🧨 People with Lilith in the 12th house often don’t realize that they appear “forbidden” or “dangerous” to others, so they may wonder why they frequently have strange encounters or connections. They may also be secretly sexualized or villainized by others.
🏥 Having 12th house placements (or placements at 29°) is like having an old man in a hospital, nearing death but full of wisdom.
🦂 Someone with Scorpio or Pluto in the 12th house doesn’t realize how highly manipulative or influential they are, even though most of what they’re doing is simply for themselves. They could be doing something as simple as a routine activity, and everyone is highly affected by it, whether for good or bad. Even though they tend to avoid being this way, they don’t realize it most of the time.
🥊 If the 12th house represents internal struggle, the 1st house represents external struggle. People with 1st house issues are often visible to others, but the downside is that they literally have to go out and fight for themselves. People with 12th house issues, on the other hand, deal more with the mental or spiritual side, so their struggles aren’t as visible. Because of this, they may be misunderstood, but the bright side is that they don’t have to fight externally the way 1st house placements do.
