It was the bloodlust. There was no other explaination than the fact that Thea could not control her... anger, her need to end that mans live but she had wanted too. She had wanted to stop, and as soon as she had she knew it was too late. She didn't want to kill him-- or anyone, but she had and once again any control she had over her life had been taken from her just like it had been the first time she ever committed a murder.
"I...." Her eyes turned towards her brothers, expecting shock or anger or accusation behind his expression but instead meeting a cold and calm looking man. A man who knew what Thea had done and was trying to take care of it instead of react like any other person would have.
She was looking into a man who looked exactly like their father right now and as soon as the word trust resonated in her mind with that realization she froze.
"Alright? I killed someone Tommy! I.. I killed another person and you..." She knew as he continued that there was no talking about this right now. Regardless of her panic and concern at the same time she needed to get cleaned up like he said, and this needed to be cleaned up.
It was a blur making her way upstairs, but as soon as the door to the bathroom closed she started shaking. Her vision blurred and all she could see was the blood on her hands. The blood she had put there... was it hers? Was it the dead mans downstairs? She couldn't even tell if she was hurt anymore as a numbnes took over her and her body shut down.
She lost track of how much time she was in the bathroom. The water running from the showerhead drowning out the sounds of her tears as she just let it wash away the evidence of everything she had just done. Revealing little injury to herself and that all of the blood was his.
She didn't even know his name.
Leaving the bathroom in a robe that was in there since she hadn't grabbed a change of clothes, she left the bag with her bloody clothes on the floor in the bathroom. Trembling too much to pick it up.
She felt sick because she felt better after it happened. The pressure that had been building up inside of her for weeks from not killing anyone was gone and what replaced it instead was a sick dizziness that she gave herself. She didn't speak again until she saw Tommy.
"How are you so calm right now?" she was never one to not be blunt.
