Apparently it's considered a soft reboot of the series. Let me know how it is bc I'm sort of interested but being skittish abt getting it
im only like 1-2 hours in cuz my hdmi cord broke 💀 so i have yet to get to the game of the year stuff that people have been raving about
the last two big games i played were botw and ac: origins so it is very disorienting to going from ‘i can literally go anywhere’ to u can roam around a bit but you can’t just free climb this mountain, it’s a little sad
i love the weapon tho. its so fun to just throw that ax anywhere, and theres plenty of upgrading so fighting + puzzle solving with the ax will probs be the best bits of the game. it feels good to play, it’s not frustrating and the animations + graphics are p top (i believe the cut scenes are in engine too)
story wise: i’m looking forward to it a lot actually! kratos is an asshole rn but u can tell it’s gonna get up in ur feels and that’ll be great. norse gods will probably be neat, but it is a little slow going as of yet
