What I don’t get is, if it’s not on purpose than what’s the point of all those scenes? Like why add the soft music, the slow motion, the intense eye contact, the constant saving her from danger?? 

And than parallel that with the fact that he has only had like one substantial scene with his actual love interest so far and it’s already ep 5! He has just been watching Anna from his monitor and slowly falling for her that way without actually knowing her at all. It feels vaguely voyeuristic and there was literally a scene where she covered the monitoring camera because she wanted privacy, but he just found her through a different camera that was just a little further away and then proceeded to fanboy and giggle to himself over how cute she is. Like, I’m sorry but that is not romantic. Their entire “relationship” so far is so one sided and it’s concerning. I was so ready for ep 5 to change that and have some shippy moments between Anna and Je Ho but there was literally nothing. They didn’t even talk once!

I had the same experience with the King and The Clown. Is it a good movie? Yes. Will it depress you for days. Yes. Don’t watch it.

I've seen it and i was more depressed by Always than King and Clown. My homegirl G recommended t when she was an admin here and I couldn't stop crying for like an hour after that movie was over. I was like not cool man. I just think that friends should suggest movies that will make your friend sad without ample warning.They should warn you that your gonna be snotting and crying looking a hot mess.

I agree! Wrist grabbing and manhandling needs to stop.  It took me awhile to get used to when I first started watching dramas.  Most of these dramas are from countries that have a patriarchal society, so men bossing woman around/grabbing them is very commonly depicted in dramas.  I’ve seen quite a few where they break free (and sometimes slap the guy).  It’s always a satisfying feeling to see that.

Again I agree, The wrist grabbing is definitely a horrible trope. The thing that makes me so mad is that often the women does try to pull free but he over powers her. I had a partner recently try that on me and it made me feel trapped and like they were going to harm me. This is yet another way that dramas convey that woman are a mans property one they fall in "love" To be honest any bloke or person your dating who tries that shit on you needs their nose bloodied. I don't condone violence but if you pull this shit then you deserve it.  

Can you be more specific about what shows you are talking about? In High School King of Savvy, In Guk’s character is 18. Which show has a 13 year old?

I was specific hon that drama is called High School love where the love interest are 13 and 23. 

It was good. I will post no spoilers though. Because there are some shocking things. Beware!
