Oh, glorious day! Bruce from StoreWithStory (BCC Korea) came through with the replacement PCB for my Qnix 27" 2560x1440 PLS monitor. I actually received it Monday, but I was too exhausted that night to take apart the monitor and replace it. Got around to it tonight and god damn am I happy this thing is working again. It's incredible just how much better this one is than the old shitty one I was using while this was out of commission. I'm pretty sure it gave me a tech-boner, or some kind of mental geek-gasm.
These monitors are a killer deal by the way for anyone looking for a high resolution panel with great color reproduction and viewing angles. They use Samsung PLS panels (which is similar to IPS panel). These monitors have become a pretty hot item within the computer geek crowd, especially because they can easily be overclocked to ~120Hz. I used to run mine at 120Hz, but this time I'm using it at 96Hz... Not a big difference in performance, but I feel 96Hz is less taxing on the PCB.
Now I can get back to gaming and watching multiple porn videos at once! (seriously, sometimes I watch like 4-6 porns at the same time with this thing)
Props to "Bruce" (yeah, like I really believe that's his name) at StoreWithStory for taking care of me.
