Plotsky – A Christmas Story

Plotsky is a Christmas short story for adults. The story takes place over three days before Christmas during the mid-1990s in New York. Plotsky, it would seem, got very disillusioned with the world a while back and hadn’t yet gotten over it. Christmastime did not make circumstances any better. In the afterglow of this Christmas and the years to come I hope it will entertain and inspire the spirit…

basically these are some plots swirling around inside the old brain. I'm just going to spew them out into this post:

anything based off of himym plot. either with the already existing characters or anything based of of those characters stories.

some sort of superheroes plot, either sidekicks, or enemies that were once friends, or really lame superhero with practically useless powers falls for a really powerful superhero. or even some sort of platonic superhero SUPERFRIENDS plot.

anything based of any movie I have seen. It can be genderbent, it can literally be anything. I love movies.

on that same sort of note tv show based plots. like nickelodeon or disney shows "all grown up" type thing. I want rugrats all grown up so bad.

Needless to say, muse a and muse b ended up dating. All through the last two years of high school. Their lives were set, muse a was so in love he planned on even asking her to marry him after high school. But muse b had different plans. Sure she was in love, but she was scared. muse a had gotten a fancy football scholarship and was planning on leaving for school, but muse b didn't want to leave and was insecure about the future. She was going to go to community college. But she didn't want muse a to leave. 

So she faked it.

muse b told muse a she was pregnant, even though she wasn't. So he threw it all away. He gave up his scholarship, gave up everything he had to in order to buy them an apartment. muse a even proposed. Sure they were only high schoolers but he was going to do everything in his power to make it work. But he found out. She tried to keep her physical distance from him after a month or so, and wore extra baggy clothes, but he knew her too well. Something was off and it wasn't solely the pregnancy.

Needless to say the two broke up. muse a was too late to start classes, and ended up pumping gas at the local gas station. He hated everything there was to hate about muse b. He sold the apartment and moved back in with his parents.

It's three years later. muse a gets a phone call for a job. He had started technical school classes and had been looking for a mechanic job. So he goes for the interview. There sitting at the desk is muse b. Her father owns the shop.
