ANONYMOUS: What’s your favorite scary movie? ELIO: The Cabin in the Woods. Have you seen it?

ANONYMOUS: If you were the deity you’re connected to, what would you change about their history? ELIO: What wouldn’t I change? The Gods are more fucked up than any person I know. Less blaming others for their own mistakes would be nice.

ANONYMOUS: What’s been your hardest mission so far? ELIO: That one with the three Aphrodite kids if you know what I mean.

ANONYMOUS: Would you give up your own life to ensure that the others survive? ELIO: LOL Probably, but it would be an accident if it happened. I prefer not to die, you know?

ANONYMOUS: Do you sleep alone at night? have you ever checked under your bed? ELIO: I regularly check under my bed. That’s where my happy sock is. Are you flirting? Because you’re not giving off any hot vibes so far.

ANONYMOUS: I hear things are coming out of the mirrors now. do you dare to say bloody mary’s name three times in front of one? ELIO: No way. I don’t fuck with that shit. Not since I found out monsters are real.

ANONYMOUS: A shovel, a chainsaw, or a lamp? ELIO: Lamp.

ANONYMOUS: Where did you get that shirt? i think i want to add it to my collection, but i’m a different size than you are. ELIO: Your mom gave it to me after we were done rolling around her bed.

ANONYMOUS: No one is going to believe you, are you ready for all of them to think you’re crazy? ELIO: Envious assholes always think you’re crazy. Are you one of them?

ANONYMOUS: If i end up destroying your cabin, which one are you going to move to? ELIO: LOL Easy with the Apollo hate crimes, man. But, I mean, I did need an excuse to crash in the Aphrodite cabin anyway.

CONTEXTO: faz quase três semanas desde o torneio municipal de líderes de torcida, do qual o time da universidade de st. matthew saiu em segundo lugar. de todos os times universitários da cidade, o único a se classificar para o nível regional do campeonato foi o da universidade católica local, que levou a medalha de ouro... mesmo tendo competido com uma rotina mais fraca. o que ninguém sabe é que o time vencedor trapaceou — utilizou MAGIA para manipular a decisão dos jurados, assim como para sabotar os times adversários por meio de um ENCANTAMENTO DE AZAR, cujo efeito perdura até o momento atual.

as tradition holds, a concert is held in town square on the third night of celebration, also called curățare. july 6th. local bands and singers are welcomed to a stage set up just in front of city hall, and admission is always free. the plaza is decorated as it is every year, with warmly lit candles floating a safe distance above the chattering crowd. a lone singer stands on stage, just beginning her performance. many more people were gathered in the same area just hours earlier, buying food, enjoying water games, and indulging in the fruits of festivity. the crowd is thinner now- there are less children and families, and a lot more couples cuddled under the soft lights. the flames have dimmed to allow a spotlight on the singer as she continues her performance.

a calm ambiance has settled over the plaza as audience members sip cocktails and chat with friends. nothing is out of place—

WRRRRRRrrrrr...

the echoing sound of generators powering down quiets the lively bustle of the festival, shortly followed by the rushing hum of concerned voices flowing into the dark. a power outage. no big deal. ’where have the candles gone?’ ‘i can’t summon my scrolls!’ ‘none of the enchantments are working!’ the panic quickly spreads as one by one, the crowd realizes their magic is unresponsive— gone.

the concerned chatter continues as security begins lighting battery-powered flashlights into the crowd. before evacuation procedures can formally begin, the sound of someone clearing their throat over the chaos comes from the stage. a group of four security agents stand on stage, lighting the spot where mayor julian ashbrook stands, hands calmly clasped behind his back. “my dear guests, it would seem that there’s been a slight technical issue,” he begins, his accented and familiar voice quieting the remaining chatter. “unfortunately, we will be shutting down the festivities for the night. we hope to have things sorted so that the joy might continue tomorrow. our security staff will light the way so that you may exit safely. have a good night.” as quickly as he appeared, mayor ashbrook makes his exit, leaving the security staff to do their jobs.

QUICKREAD: power and magical abilities have gone out all across salem. charms and previously magically imbued items aren’t affected. cell phone towers and internet are also out of commission. mayor julian ashbrook has shut down the festivities of salem’s famed zie de istorie celebration for the time being. unknown to anyone other than him, the magical barrier around salem has gone down. after the announcement, he returns to city hall to convene with council members and relay the information. they are given strict orders not to release what they’ve been told to outside parties.

Brotherly Love [0/1] , Sisterly Love [0/1] ; Aly has a brother and sister up from grabs! More info can be seen in the wanted connections post on the main, as well as on Aly’s page here for her brother, and her sister. She/their upbringing is also spoken about in Alaska’s bio here. 

Position of Authority [0/1] ; I’m realizing more and more that Aly is pretty young in this group so far, but I’m going to work with it! If she were to get romantic feelings (mutual, I think) with someone in a position of power or authority, or of a significant age difference, or felt like she needed to stay with them, I think that could be interesting... even if they’re not serious, if she’s the ‘other woman’ or just company, if that kind of manipulation is there, it would work. 

#SQUAD [0/4 or 5?] ; I do like the idea of the invincible duo dynamic, however, I’ve always liked there being a core group of 4 or 5 people that are their only little squad and friend group. I’m still processing ideas over what they could bond over/have in common, Edens is just so big! 

Fiddle Fingers [0/5] ; Alaska is quite skilled at pick pocketing and slight-of-hand skills, and now it’s becoming more and more necessary for her to survive and make some money. So if you need or want something of your characters to go missing or have stolen, here we are!!

Middle Game  [0/∞] ; are they end game? No, but that doesn’t mean the feelings aren’t there. People date, that’s just a fact, but they amount that actually end up together? Few and far between. A more accurate and open take on realistic dating situation(s) in life.

Break & Enter [0/1 or 2] ; Character away or out of the house? Just for a moment, or for a long period of time? Would be a shame if someone were to break into it to steal something..... would be even worse if your character wasn’t even actually away.

Love Triangle [0/2] ; I’m cool with this being a typical love triangle (Aly+ two boys, or the OG Riverdale kind with Aly + another girl, vying for the same guy). ALSO! Not opposed to a legitimate/connected triangle-- Alaska’s sexuality is assumed straight but is truthfully TBD!

Mischief Managed [0/1] ; This person might be a bit of a bad influence, but hey, it’s not illegal unless you get caught... right? They always seem to be sneaking out, and might drag Alaska back out of her goody-two-shoes persona she’s taking on. While she hates it and might put up a fight, there’s no denying that Aly has the best time with this person and has the best adventures/memories during their escapades

Situational Friends  [0/1] ; “we can be friends, but.... only in secret”. Whatever that reason may be, and I’m open for it going either way! But while these two have a friendship, it’s not something they can be open about it with. Maybe it’s because of familial beliefs or relationships, or social groups, or jealous exes, or they literally don’t want to be seen with them, etc, but there is sneaking around to help this friendship thrive.

Besties [0/1] ; you know the deal, these two are connected at the hip, a package deal, and will have each other’s backs through thick and thing

Stolen Credit  [0/1] ; Maybe they really need or want something; maybe they go to Alaska for help; maybe they don’t even know Aly at all but they find something of hers, and claim it as their own. Maybe it requires bribery of some sort to keep it going, but one thing is for certain: this character can’t have it come out that they stole _____.

A Guiding Light [0/1] ; a good influence, someone who Aly can look up to and admire. Maybe they have some similarities, maybe they have something in common.... either way, this is a good pairing, similar to a sibling kind of relationship.

Dealer, Dealer... [0/1] ; Alaska has a past, one that included an addiction to prescription drugs, along with a couple others... it’s part of the reason she’s in Edens Town in the first place. She’s fresh out of a small period of sobriety though, and with little guidance... if someone were to (knowingly or unknowing of her past) try to sell her or influence her to do drugs, they’d likely end up in a pretty toxic relationship.

Advantageous [0/1] ; Aly is a bit naive at times, though she’s a smart girl with a deep past. Still, she cares immensely for her friends and the people she loves, and if someone needed to take advantage of that trust and a doe-eyes girl, Alaska would be a shoe-in for that.

Gimme Shelter [0/1?] ; although she’s currently residing in the motel in Ashford, she’s going to run out of funds pretty soon here, and will likely resort to homelessness until she can get her shit together. In order to get off the streets, it would be neat to have an actual place to go, or places.

Fickle Friends [0/1] ; you might know them as “frenemies”, they know each other as unpredictable. There’s no doubt that they love and care for each other, but their friendship won’t stand in the way of getting what they need or want.

Blast from the past [0/1] ; this is pretty open and vague, but it could be anyone from high-school or beyond who would know her and/or her sister, male or female. They could be close, they could be mere acquaintances, whatever. Just someone else from their hometown, someone Aly was not expecting to see again, and they likely weren’t expecting to see her again either.

Skinny love [0/1] ; they have feelings for each other -whether they realize they do or not- but neither one of them are keen on admitting it, whatever their reasoning may be.

Unrequited Love [0/1] ; Unlike skinny love, one person does not share the same sentiments as the other.... and things can get a little hectic. (This person could be Aly or your character, I’m up for either!)’
