I had a thought todayÂ
Tommy was the first person Jonas suggested to be a Young Avenger. And in his own quiet way he insisted on Tommy. It could have been because Tommy as the most powerful or because he was the closest. Or they could convince him to join them faster because it would get him out of jail.
Personally I donât think it was any of those reasons. I think Jonas looked through the files, and saw Tommyâs juvie medical records, saw the experiments that he was going through and decided that they needed to get him out of there. That this was wrong and they needed to fix it.
Tommy was the first person Jonas saved. And Tommy will always be grateful to him.
Unsustainable || Bruce and Vision (closed)

Bruce was fairly certain that heâd come to the last place on Earth anyone would look for him. Why would Bruce Banner come to the site of the Hulk attack? The answer was simple, because he could help. By the time he arrived, he had a decent beard going and he dyed his hair a few shades darker than his usual brown. Not that people noticed the latter because he constantly wore a baseball cap.
He worked tirelessly and rarely rested. The skills he had were more than useful in a disaster zone like this one and he was needed everywhere. As much as he could, he avoided being around the other volunteers preferring to work alone and eat his meals alone when he ate.
It was this isolation that meant he wasnât told one of the Avengers was coming to the site. He didnât know until he came around a corner and saw Vision standing there speaking to some people. Bruce stopped in his tracks and tilted his head down so the bill of his cap covered his face. Then he slowly took a step back and turned away. There was hope Vision hadnât seen him, but it was faint. His shoulders slumped a little as he walked backed to his work area. It was too much to ask that he be given time to try to make things better. If he was lucky, Vision would give him enough time to get away.
