Please, please if you post ANYTHING about politics, I (and I'm sure many others) would really appreciate it if you would tag it #politics. Many of us come on here to get away from that stuff. We aren't asking for you to stay silent on your opinions, just that you tag it. Yes, you can choose not to tag, but then some of us may have no choice but to unfollow you. There are people I really really don't want to unfollow, but I may be forced to. Just to make it clear, I'm not just talking about politicians and elections. These things are political:
* covid laws and policies
* vaccines
* abortion
* economics (capitalism, socialism, communism)
* the military
* gun control/rights
* taxes
* minimum wage
* healthcare
Remember, even people who agree with your opinions may want to avoid those topics.
Also be careful when bashing an entire religion. That may be the faith of one of your followers. Kindness goes along way, or if you want to bash a religion, at least tag it #anti-christian or whatever.
There are times lately I have tried to get on this site, and I get so upset I have seriously thought of deleting it completely. I just want to escape into fiction, I have filtered tags, and I don't think it's crazy to ask people to just be nice. And I know Tumblr sucks with tags, but I am talking about seeing posts with literally no tags. Or a cutesy tag like #yep. That is not helpful.
