I'm so sick of the stereotypes I've been seeing weirdly often that only older people and people who have been through intense physical trauma can have chronic pain. Like that's just some utter bullshit, not only can teens and young kids who do sports consistently and wear out their muscles so much get chronic pain BUT YOU CAN BE BORN WITH IT. Chronic pain is also different for everyone, I know someone with chronic pain in general, it pops up all over the place, my best friend has knee pain that she genuinely can't fix. I don't know if I have chronic pain. Like if it counts as chronic pain or not because sometimes I'll just yawn or stretch slightly and I get dehabilitering pain in my side and hip, aswell as a almost constant amount of knee pain. The only reason I don't know is because theres this stupid stereotype that because I'm a teenager/young adult with no physical trauma I can't have chronic pain and it makes me scared to ask about, PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY GETTING THEIR PAIN AND BODIES HURTING MORE BECAUSE THEY ARE SCARED TO ASK FOR MEDICAL HELP BECAUSE OF THESE STEREOTYPES!!
Just got an exceedingly weird notification from a “notification help” post I was tagged in, saying something about my account being at risk, said something about compensation too. This was immediately followed by a reply to my OC post asking about my account/getting in contact through dm’s
After I blocked that commenter, suddenly the help post got deleted(?) I can’t even access it through my activity board 🤷 I imagine both were scams, but thought I should let people know anyway
