I admit I've never written Cregan with a Dornish reader because I've never been able to figure out how to make it work. At that point in the story Dorne is not part of the Seven Kingdoms, and Cregan is literally the Warden of the North, it has some political significance.

So unless I completely change the course of events, like Viserys reaching out to Dorne and negotiating an alliance... but then why would a Dornish noble marry his daughter to the Starks and not the Targaryens first? That's what makes more sense politically speaking.

Also, would a Dornish woman accept to be sent to a frozen land after growing up in literally the hottest part of Westeros? Would she be happy? Since Cregan would probably never go so far south as Dorne.
