We had lots of fun trying out a new craft from @plbfun yesterday. These sungemmers came in some of our favorite designs — mermaid, turtle, and dolphin — and were a great activity for a cold day. They’d make great Easter basket stuffers! . Everyone decided to mix up the colors on the card, but they stuck to the small/large gem patterns. The gems were easy to get off the plastic sheets and I was surprised by how excited all 3 kids were to work on these. Recommended age is 6+ and that’s probably right…M (who is 4) was into it but didn’t have the attention span to finish hers like H did. She asked me to finish it for her last night 😉. Even 2yo K was pumped about the dolphin but the fine motor skill of putting the gem directly on the circle was tough so eventually she just handed me the colored gems to put on there. But she didn’t get frustrated and we talked about size/color the whole time, so that was a win 👍🏻. .
