This weekend was the first quest of the medicine wagon. We took it to @playthinkfest and set it up as a first aid station. @meggish @makelifeyourbeach @comedyoferis me and my daughter Aoife staffed it. . . . Playthink is a movement and flow arts festival as well as a camping event, so there were camping type problems (blisters from walking, poison ivy, sunburn), and injuries from the specific activities people were doing, like burns from fire spinning. . . . The medicine wagon is designed to function as a clinic during the day and a camper at night. This meant i didn’t have to spend hours setting up or taking down a camp somewhere else and setting up a first aid station— just rolled in and got started.
