First upcycling of the year. I'm well wrapped up as it's very chilly but with a beautiful blue sky! Spray paint makes light work of these projects. Today I'm using metallic gold by Plasticote. I have some interesting antique and vintage brass and ormolu pieces that are beyond the 'charming' stage so I've decided to upcycle in order to make them beautiful and functional once more. In today's batch we have an antique handmade 'boy' candlestick, an early 20th century peacock candlestick, a mid century magazine rack and some worn French ormolu curtain tiebacks. I really should have taken before and after shots! Doh! Oh well I'll hopefully remember for next time.
