The planted tank finished cycling quickly after adding a sponge filter and a piece of aged driftwood to the tank. This guy was at the petco friday when I was still reading nitrites. Everything is 0 now so I thought perhaps he could live in this tank while it matures.
Eventually, I hope to make this a shrimp colony, and by then I'll have another tank set up just for him.

Let’s hope the new filter is much better for him along with the new substrate for the plants. Waiting now for the tank to settle before replanting some new plants and putting in the driftwood.
