Today I found out that it's @veggievelo's last week being a regular at @plant4bowden (😭), so @baronxvx had a little date night tonight with their satay tofu burgers and Brendo also (finally 🙏🏽) got the dumpling noodle bowl from @beimanadelaide + we shared waffles from @livealittlegelato. I remember before I was even vegan, so over 3 years ago, I was having a day out with my parents and I had been seeing @veggievelo all over Instagram and their burgers looked so incredible so I asked my parents to drive me 45 minutes to the city, to some cycling event where the @veggievelo bike was set up, just so I could finally try one of their burgers. I had the lentil burger and I remember the mayo and relish and how much I loved it. Then I became a regular to the @veggievelo stall at @themarketshed and discovered the tempeh/tofu satay burger and that became my new obsession. 100% my favourite burgers in SA.
