This Cedar Plank Salmon with Asian Plum Sauce recipe combines the smoky flavor of cedar plank grilling with the sweet and tangy taste of Asian plum sauce. It's an easy and delicious way to elevate your salmon dish for a special meal.
Ingredients: 1 cedar plank. 4 salmon fillets. 1 cup Asian plum sauce. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions: For at least an hour, soak the cedar plank in water. Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Put Asian plum sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Mix them together. Salt and pepper the salmon fillets before putting them on the cedar plank. Use a lot of the Asian plum sauce mixture to brush on the salmon fillets. Close the lid on the grill and put the cedar plank with the salmon on it. Flake the salmon with a fork after 12 to 15 minutes on the grill. Take the salmon off the grill when it's done and top it with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy while hot!
