Review of Planist’s Everyday Cleansing Foam
The Korean brand PLANIST prides itself on being Simple Life Cosmetics. Their minimalist style and lack of unnecessary ingredients are meant to give tired skin a clean and natural feeling. Their Everyday Cleansing Foam uses naturally derived ingredients and has a pH level between 5 and 6 and is designed to cleanse skin with little to no irritation. Ingredients include: sodium cocoyl isethionate (also known as a babyfoam, extremely gentle surfactant based on coconut fatty acids), soapnuts (also known as soapberries; gently cleansing, moisturizing, anti-blackhead, ideal for sensitive skin), rooibos extract (anti-aging, anti-acne, antibacterial, hypoallergenic, relieves allergies, vitamin-rich), rosemary leaf oil (rejuvenating, anti-acne, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, healing) and palmarosa oil (antibacterial, healing, hydrating, moisturizing, antiseptic). This cleanser retails for between $16-18 USD, you can get it here for $16 + shipping.

To quickly note, I received this free from 0.8 Liter for my honest review, this post is not sponsored.
As you can see, the packaging is very minimalist, this should interest quite few people.
There is 150 ml (5.07 oz) of product and it comes in a basic squeeze tube. There is a pretty noticeable scent of rosemary in this cleanser, I don't think it's too overwhelming, but it could bother people.
I used a matte brown waterproof liner to test if this cleanser can remove waterproof makeup.
The cleanser has a smooth feeling and kind of looks like hand soap, but it's quite gentle as advertised and is not drying.
Naturally, this cleanser does not foam or bubble up that much, so I'd recommend it for dry and/or sensitive skin.
It does take some time to remove, but it does the trick and removes makeup without over-drying or irritation.
Recommended use is to use water to lather up the cleanser and then apply and gently massage into skin. After using, I found that this cleanser was very nice to massage into skin, but you need a lot of water to get a decent amount of bubbles. The cleanser has a pretty notable rosemary scent like I stated, as well as a scent of all the essential oils in the ingredient list. You don't need much product and it does not dry out or give your skin a tight feeling. This cleanser is also pretty useful to remove makeup.
What I like: the fact that the cleanser has a low pH level and it's very gentle but effective at removing dirt and makeup from the skin. The ingredients are hydrating and nourishing. You don't need a lot of the cleanser to cleanse your face and neck. I also love how hydrating and non-drying this cleanser is and my skin does not feel tight or dehydrated after using. What I don't like: not widely available, it's a litte bit expensive to buy.
