Though in theory the sentient Pokédex should possess excellent navigational capabilities, it lacked the kind of night vision that, say, a Lycanroc might have the benefit of. So it was that Rotom Dex found itself lost in a darkened forest, hoping against hope that the rustling in the foliage ahead was a sign of an approaching trainer and not a ferocious forest pokémon.

“Hello?” It called out cautiously, “Anybody there-zzzzt?”

“Whoa!” Ryan McCrimmon had just come across an Incineroar. “You look like a good sparing partner for my Pokémon, that is, if you’re willing.”

“Whoa!” Ryan had been walking along an Alolan trail when he had seen a Pokêmon of some kind on the ground. “Are you okay!?” He cried as he ran and knelt beside it. “Did a Pokémon attack you? What should I do!?”

Ryan McCrimmon was in big trouble. A small, injured creature had appeared before him and he had refused to give it up to those who had come looking for it.

"Don't worry little guy, we'll find a safe place." Ryan said. "Oof!" The Pokémon trainer had run into something.

“Mmmmm....” Ryan and Quilladin had just finished a meal in a restaurant in  Konikoni City. It was then the duo saw there was a Tsareena helping the girl who had served the trainer and Pokémon their food. Keeping himself busy by doodling, Ryan waited until the restaurant was less hectic. At which point-. “Excuse me?” He called into the kitchen. “I want to challenge whoever caught that Tsareena to a battle!”
