taekyeo pushed his hair out of his face, tucking it behind his ear. he scanned his eyes across the room and yawned loudly. he had just gotten here and he didn’t exactly want to be in the club but he didn’t have anywhere else to be. most of the other vampires in the room knew he was or at least they knew who he was associate. due to that and the strong opinions that people held on that group it wasn’t likely that taekyeo wouldn’t be approached. he didn’t mind that at all.
he walked over to the bar and leaned against it without saying anything. taekyeo didn't actually want to order anything he just wanted to be preoccupied. maybe talk to some people - be doubted that but it was always a consideration. usually taekyeo enjoyed watching others, it made him feel less lonely without actually having to meet other vampires.
after a few minutes of watching the crowd he spotted someone who he never though he'd see again. “hyung?” taekyeo’s voice was barely audible even to himself as he took a small step in the direction of the boy. no, he must be seeing things. jongyul wasn't a vampire - he was dead. he'd passed away years ago while taekyeo himself was still a human.
taekyeo continued to stare at the other blinking slowly before rubbing his eyes. he felt like he was looking at a ghost. he might as well have been - the person in from of him looked just like jongyul had the last time taekyeo had seen him. it couldn't actually be him, could it? taekyeo wasn't sure if he could to believe it. if this was his older brother it would make sense - he'd have been a vampire all this time instead of dead like he had known for over a decade.
taking in a deep breath he moved as his hair began to once again fall into his face. his eyes had to be playing tricks on him. making sure his hair was stuck behind his ear he cleared his throat. "jang jongyul?" taekyeo said loudly aiming to be heard over the rest of the sounds im the bar. if this was his brother he had to know.
