Btw shortly after Arley and Kieran got married in Tomodachi life, and I gave them timeskip designs; I was watching Kieran. He then said this catchphrase as he was staring at Arley walking away. Whatever. Jesus Christ. I’m putting them down tomorrow
Okay so Arley and Kieran in Pokémon Fuchsia. Let’s be realistic here, unless it’s Indigo Disk where Kieran is in his rebellious (and mental health plummet) stage, Kieran would likely go to Carmine for comfort first. Sure she can be rude and struggles to understand him at times, but that’s his older sister. That’s someone he’s known his entire life and is stated to have clung to and hidden behind for ages. Carmine is protective. Why wouldn’t she try to comfort and keep Kieran safe when she does understand? Or even still try when she doesn’t? Second in line is Arley, then there’s very close tied thirds of Juliana and Florian. Big sis -> crush/partner -> best friends (after the beef subsides)
BUT what happens when Arley, Carmine, and Florian are all captured by Team Plasma during the blueberry academy raid arc mid Indigo Disk. Can’t go to Carmine. Can’t go to Arley. Can’t go to Florian. All is left is him, Juliana, Crispin, and Amarys. And he still has beef with both Juliana and Florian anyway. Forcing Kieran to learn how to regulate his emotions during that time because he becomes like five times more stressed than he already was and therefore even more distant while trying to hide how desperately he needs comfort from someone other than himself (who already struggles to do so anyway)
