Okay, so a secret... IDK If this is a secret, but I can’t really think of a secret?
So when I was in middle school this boy had a crush on me.  He wrote me a note, one of those “Do you like me? Check yes or no” things, but it was like “I have liked you since I met you when we were in third grade.” which is hilarious and all, but I was mad because we actually met in the first grade and I didn’t like this kid so I threw that note away.
A few days later, I get another note that asked if I got the other note and I threw that one away too.  And then however long after I got an invitation to a party at his house and I threw it away too because that’s how you deal with things, you throw them away and ignore them.
Then a mutual friend tells me that kid is planning on asking me out at this family event thing that I was actually really excited about and when I’m with my family in the car I throw the biggest 13 year old tantrum, like I cursed out my dad, until they’re like “YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO GO ANYMORE” because I couldn’t tell my parents there was a dude there that made me hella uncomfortable.  I think they just assumed it was like some teenage angst thing, but I never told anyone the real reason.  That’s the secret, there you go.

I like to think that the Anastasia movie is the AU we all wished happened. Nothing sucks for a pre-tween more than to do a biography report on a political figure only to go back to your teacher in tears because the princess you adored as a child was actually murdered.
