The creator behind the tarot decks Neon Moon, Sinking Wasteland, and Wayward Dark has a brand new deck! Portland artist James Brothwell/PixelOccult has created an occult themed tarot deck. The deck uses symbolism commonly associated with occult and horror in a stark display of red, white, and black. His decks tend to use dark, limited color palettes for high contrast and easily recognizable imagery, and the same goes for this one.

There are several options this time around as well: the standard size deck, a pocket sized deck, and an altar cloth.

The standard size deck is similar to the make of the last deck (Wayward Dark) and comes in a custom tin, but this deck has glossy linen finish cardstock.

The pocket sized edition has the same cardstock but comes housed in a tuck box and is bridge sized (about 2.2″x3.5″). The pocket sized edition is almost half the price of a standard size deck!

The campaign goes on until October 10th. The decks are expected to ship October-November, which is a very quick timeline. James has repeatedly fulfilled all his campaigns on such quick turnaround schedules, and already has prototype decks and is ready to print (though there may be delays due to the west coast situation)
