d AVE is a super good dancer like wowie zowie look at that boy go bc you know he's super good at timing haha knight of time you feel me anyways so he's super great-tastic at dancing and john might as well just pop one every time dave whips out his moves bc there is something absolutely enthralling about someone being able to perfectly time their movements to music that just is so goddamn attractive. john himself tends to do more silly dancing, not because he can't dance bc he can, but because he finds it funny when people dance badly so he dances badly to try and make people laugh etc etc. he does the same thing with singing. he sings horribly all the time because he thinks off-key singing is super duper funny. he does it so often people just think he sucks at singing, but really he's super fucking amazing. anyways, back to dancing bc i'm not done talking bout that; john's style is really flow-y and he uses his hips and arms a lot, whereas dave is more sharp and less sloppy, and he uses his feet more. there's actually a video i have that basically describes it with my headcanon dave dancer so yeah the chick would be john and the dude is dave there you go.

so back to what i said about singing-- one day dave would walk in on john just like belting out a song to himself as he does chores or smth like that and you might have seen my recent post about this but if not have a headcanon john singing voice. i've yet to find a definitive one for dave; i'm thinking something more soft and smooth. shit, idk. anyways, dave stands there for a moment and john is sort of starting to jam out like he grabs his broom and swings it to the side and uses the handle as a mic and is just enjoying himself so goddamn much and dave just says super loudly like "john what the f UCK" and john turns around so fast that his legs twist around each other and he falls onto his back like fu CKING that was a strider out of nowhere not cool give a guy some warning jfc

before dave and john started to go out-- i'm going by just like a generic highschool au with no sburb-- they would have severely blurred the line between best bros and in a relationship like john would sit in dave's lap and they always sit by each other and during lunch dave would be talking to someone and john would just take his arm and start tracing stuff lightly onto dave's skin with his finger and sort of hold dave's hand between his and dave just isn't fazed, just keeps talking like w/e that's normal. they also would cheek kiss sometimes and when dave stays over at john's house and john gets up to make them breakfast like pancakes or smth, dave would go up behind him and wrap his arms around john's waist and rest his chin on john's shoulder and sway back and forth a tiny bit and john would just lean back against him and just like jfc guys just get together already i mean you get enough people asking if you are and you both wanna be together-- or i mean, dave is pretty sure he does but john is not sure at all he's sort of confuzzled about his feelings man bc dave is his best bro so obvs his head is having a hard time wrapping around the concept that he may romantically love him like woahhhh nelly.
