I know @pixelatedpeaches is really excited about my help with their legacy, but there’s no need to shower me with praise and riches.  I just see a story that needs to be told.  Just doing my job.

Amber and Sean broke into a perfectly choreographed dance number.  When the song finally ended, Amber drew closer to Sean.  “How did we even do that?  I’ve never taken a dance class in my life?”

Sean gave a little shrug.  “Some things are meant to be.  Will you marry me?”

“Yes!  Yes I will marry you, Sean, even though I just met you five minutes ago and don’t even know your last name!”

Since @pixelatedpeaches needs time to settle back in to school, I will be taking over writing duties for The Vinton Legacy.  This is all very official.

After Luna’s death, Sean ran from their house, desperate to escape his terrible new reality.  He stopped in front of a house a few blocks away, finding that his legs could no longer hold him as he was literally crushed by the weight of all that had taken place.  He’d finally reunited with the love of his life after years of separation, only to see her murdered right before his eyes.

The sounds of his heart-broken sobs drew the attention of the young woman who owned the house, interrupting her gardening to look for the source of the noise.

“Boy, why are you crying?”

Here’s the final installment of my @pixelatedpeaches takeover!  I’ll be over here working on my awards acceptance speeches if you need me.

Fortunately, Amber just happened to have a wedding gown and a tux in Sean’s size, so they were married immediately in a ceremony in her backyard that nobody else witnessed.

“I’m so happy, Sean,” Amber told him as she looked over his shoulder at the new world they were only just beginning to create.  “But I can’t help but feel that I’m forgetting something.”

“I know just the thing to take your mind off of those worries,” he replied with a wink as he swept her off of her feet.

“Keep the hat on,” she whispered into his ear as he carried her towards the bedroom.

Sean immediately drew himself up, more than a little embarrassed to be caught crying by the exceedingly attractive young woman.

“Are you okay?” She asked as she came forward, reaching out to shake his hand.  “I’m Amber.  Is there anything I can do to help you?”

Sean opened and closed his mouth a few times, unable to speak.

“Are you okay?  Why are you so upset?”

Sean forced himself to pull away from her emerald gaze.  “I... I don’t know.  It feels like something really bad must have happened a long time ago, but when I look at you, all I see is sunshine and puppies and happiness.  My name is Sean, and I think I love you.”
