Listening to “Settle Me”, I hear a playful, upbeat synth-pop song, in the tradition of my favorite Australian bands. Listening closely though, I realize, the singer must be from the UK, and that’s exactly where Pixel Fix are from, more precisely from Oxford, England. Digging a bit deeper, and listening to older tracks, I learn that this latest release is kind of a change in their sound, and whether Pixel Fix really are going in a new direction with “Settle Me” or if this is more a spur-in-the-moment thing, we’ll have to see. One thing’s for sure though, I do love our Song Pick of the Day and invite you to give it a listen:
