•04/11/2020• The book I’m reading today is about a Vietnamese young girl who lived and survived the war in the 70’s. Pages upon pages of gruesome description of mangled bodies and young lives taken by the B-52 bombers that transformed Hanoi into a city of devastation. 😔 I was trying to reconcile those scenarios in my head with the face of Vietnam I have visited twice in the recent years. I am flabbergasted on how they have managed to bounce back that quick.
