what wood block recipes do you need? I might have them

Just looked at my diy’s and I was actually mistaken. It’s the wooden low table and wooden table diy’s that I lack. This is the sorta current list of diy’s I lack - https://villagerdb.com/user/mspoodle/list/diy-recipe-wishlist I try to keep it updated but I’m sorta a slacker at it. lol I have gotten a couple of the wreathes and crowns. Same with my extra free diy’s. I’m so incredibly bad at listing them and letting peeps know they’re available.

Not sure if it’s helpful but the glasses might be the ideal reference (other than different bong assignment ofc), also have you tried to use GEOM Editor to edit the shade the values? There’s a “simglass” shade to choose if my memory serves. Lastly, to make it look less f"flat", you can try to add the bump/normal map to enhance it (the effect will only show up in game.)

Hi Pi.  Thanks for the suggestions.  These are all things I have already been playing with.  Let me explain the issues with this specific wand in more detail.

This wand is a conversion from TS4.  It is extremely low poly - all of the details are simply painted on. So, unless I completely re-mesh the wand, I’m not going to be able to separate the glass/transparent portion into it’s own ‘group’ like the eyeglasses are.  

Because I cannot split the mesh into groups, it means the whole mesh has to be assigned the same shader.  And yes, I could assign ‘SimGlass’ to the whole mesh.

When I did this, I discovered that some shaders, ‘SimGlass’ and ‘PhongAlpha’ for example, cannot be clicked on when you are in CAS.  This isn’t an issue with eyeglasses, because it is split into 2 groups and one of the groups is just a normal shader.  So it is clickable.  In the case of this wand, since the whole mesh would be ‘SimGlass’ the entire mesh cannot be clicked on in CAS.  You can still CASt the accessory, it just becomes more tedious to do so.  You have to hunt it down in the list of accessories, remove it and add it back on in order to CASt it.  

In order to get both transparency to work AND for it to be clickable in CAS, I ended up using SimHair shader.  Unfortunately, that has it’s own issues, which lead me to say that the wand looked ‘flat’.

When I said the wand looked ‘flat’, I meant it in the sense that it looked ‘matte’.  (sorry for the vagueness of American-English!)  I made the glass portions of the wand nearly white on the specular, but the wand still looks ‘matte’ to me in game.  I assume this is because of the ‘SimHair’ shader I’m using.  For other wands where I did not change the shader, the specular behaves as expected.

I do know about using normal/bump maps to make them have more “depth” on all of the wands that have painted-on details like this one.  I may go back and increase the contrast significantly to make the bumps more pronounced.  But that wand does have a bump map in all of the pictures.

I think the snow toys are in the Kids/Toys sections or the Room/Lawn Furniture section. But I’m overjoyed that you like everything. I tend to go overboard with doing stuff. idk one thing inspires me to make something else and it spirals into a huge thing. Seriously though, your wish list was the best to work from. It took everything I had not to post wip screenshots. *Poor Frankie. Lol. psst! - don’t forget there’s still one thing (of course it has multiple parts lol) that I haven’t finished. It’s almost done but I just ran out of time to complete it. I’ll get it done before New Year’s if the testing goes as planned.
