Lobco had quite the exceptional brain to mouth filter. Almost nothing passed through her lips that she did not want to. Indeed, it was perhaps a little too good, for she was definitely the sort of person that should verbally express her thoughts, sentiments, much more than she did. The shrimp very much gave the impression of what one would think of a shrimp: quiet, soft spoken, barely even noticeable.
Today was the first time in ages that she could remember, in which her mouth blurted out what it wanted without allowing her brain time to barely comprehend what had been said. While she had no regrets, it was embarrassing that she had said yes to Chlomaki's shocking proposal.
She should not have. Lobco knew very well the dangers this single small and chaste kiss could pose. If he found out, he would be furious, and he could very well decide to bring harm to her charge and treasured one. Yet in light of the kiss, so soft and sweet, Lobco found that for once she did not care. For once she wanted to be selfish. For once she wanted to experience a kiss with someone who cared about her, someone who at the most base acknowledged that she was a person and not an object to be possessed. Lobco had no illusions about Chlomaki's feelings towards her, she was certain her witch felt no romantic affection towards her---why should she? Lobco was nothing more than a simple shrimp of no real talent, Chlomaki could--and had--done so much better.
Yet there was still that--respect and care, even if there were many times the witch went way overboard with her bullying, there was still that.
Lobco felt her chest constrict, butterflies flitted in her stomach and a warmth filled her cheeks at the gentle touch of Chlomaki's hand against them, and her lips against her own. It was just the faintest of touches but it filled her with a happiness she hadn't felt in years, and something inside her desperately wanted to deepen it, to try and express those feelings she was never able to verbalize.
She keeps it affectionate, but light, threading her fingers through Chlomaki's long black tresses only once before she pulls back to look at the cat. Her red eyes are shining ever so slightly and she gives her a shy little smile.
It's....surprising to see Chlomaki so shocked and embarrassed. She doesn't really know how to read that but she's unable to suppress the quietest of giggles.
"I didn't peg you as the shy type."
It was honestly pretty adorable.
“There’s nothing to apologize for. That was...nice.” It was more than that for her, but that seemed like an honest answer without weirding her out.
